Is it possible this is paintbrush? In purple?? I know the colour varies with the composition of the terrain, and I’ve seen from almost white through pink to red and magenta but never this.

Companions along the walk: Canada anemones, harebells, one purple prairie clover, blanket flowers, two Waterton mock oranges, white pussy toes, three more purple prairie clover at this very spot, northern bedstraw, camas.
