Didn’t he send Marines to LA? Is this different somehow? (Genuinely asking)

What are you doing? This would have been pathetic six months ago, now they’re literally killing people in the street. Resign and let someone else handle this.

Hmm lost me at “a guy who read”

But she went on TV and denounced the invasion/kidnapping and demanded Maduro be sent back. Are you suggesting this is performative and she will go along? She has not given any indication of being aligned with this.

This is reminding me of how regular taxis in Japan have spring loaded doors that open and close for you 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hockey equipment stinks so bad. My three brothers played and that shit was not even allowed in the house.

The documents detail alarming… allegations? Wonder who made them and whether they are credible?

I think it’s because it was healthcare. Lying about software is different from lying about blood test results (and they really did knowingly provide bogus blood test results). It was a level beyond the usual tech grift.

History/Classics major here, just cuz I found it interesting. My dad used to (mockingly) say I could open a history store. Ended up taking a few journalism courses, and got a job at a newspaper. 20 years later I’m CTO of a web dev agency. You never know where the path will lead! And 15 is so young.

No, you just round the transaction if the person is paying with cash. It’s been done all over the world!

Did they learn though? More people voting for him this time.

I dunno, is $38 to $32 really the plunge that we are looking for?
November 6, 2024 at 12:00 AM
Pretty sure it’s only needed because many people don’t know what the fuck “X” is. The other companies didn’t brand themselves out of existence.

Betting of every kind is legal in Australia (where I live) and super common and it was the one thing I still had moral superiority about 😂 now I’ve lost that too, literally nothing left that is better in the US!

It’s new in the US (has been possible elsewhere but this changes the game a lot) www.wired.com/story/yes-yo...
Yes, You Can Now Bet on Elections in the US
A US judge has overturned a moratorium that stopped gambling companies from letting people bet on election results.

Paprika is more than just as a recipe holder too, I use the grocery list just as much. Syncing is seamless. If you spring for the Mac + mobile app you can choose what to cook on laptop and create grocery list; run to store using list on phone; get home and cook with iPad. Almost too easy.

Cannot recommend Paprika enough. I have an old iPad that I use pretty much exclusively for that so don’t care too much about the fingers thing, which is very real.

Don’t understand this “don’t lump me in” response. Umm babes it’s the other white ladies we should be speaking to, not those who simply note the trends!

Just strange because the trains don’t feel that ubiquitous (outside of the very center and still only if you are lucky enough to live near one), so many people still drive, the traffic sucks etc. So it’s really surprising to hear these stats!

As someone who lived in central Sydney for seven years can I just say… what in the hell? Is this partially because the city is so insanely spread out?

Love when you show me a post from my favorite restaurant that says “It’s Friday and we’re having the most epic party and we want to see all our regulars!” on Sunday night. That’s innovation.

So this simply isn’t true, and OP is prob an asshole. American living in Aus, and I’ve definitely met people on the despise side, but generally Aussies are capable of understanding that although many of us are obnoxious there are plenty of nice ones. Kind of like Aussies!
