My daughter has had similar experiences. The cost to her, physically and mentally, and the wider costs to the NHS, society, to the children when she’s too ill to go in and teach them, are incalculable.

I think there may be quite a lot going on internationally that requires the UK’s input - or are we totally irrelevant? We also have Cabinet Ministers. They have domestic policy responsibilities which they can manage. It doesn’t all rest on one man. Thank goodness.
