Just a few days ago, I wrote about how Musk and other MAGA propagandists are using misogyny to distract their dumb male followers from Musk's unsubtle plan to pick their pockets.

USAID.

This is to me when one is driving on a road, and you come across a flaming car wreck.

You have a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. And no personal emergency.

Do you drive on by?
Or be a decent human and offer aid?

Hey Adam,

DO something.

And for the record, how you 'won' your election, revolts me.
I would have voted for you if you ran a clean race. But you did not.

Violating rules about firing IGs when he could have just as easily done it lawfully suggests Trump's larger goals. It starts with pardons & firing prosecutors. I pull the threads in this piece to see where it might end. joycevance.substack.com/p/where-is-t...
Where Is This Leading?
Late today, Donald Trump’s acting attorney general fired the prosecutors who worked on the January 6 and classified documents prosecutions against Trump.

Today I learned that Prez Biden commuted the death of all but three. And I... I am ok with that. Biden, do not stop there.
Please commute all who have fallen under the draconian punitive laws of the usa.

I want to clarify an earlier posting I made. As a human who does not care what is in your pants, unless we are having sexy time; we humans can within a nano-second recognize a female or male. In no way is this a pass for anyone who can't reconcile not being able to put you in their mental box.

Here is a point I feel most are not talking about. IMO laws were put in place to protect the haves from the have-nots rising up against the powerful.
December 9, 2024 at 4:52 PM
Providing (perhaps the illusion) a mechanism where the tyranny of the powerful can be addressed without having the last recourse to depose an unjust ruler is only by assassination.
December 9, 2024 at 4:52 PM
A means for the people to hold the powerful accountable. When the powerful pervert the rules meant to protect the people as a sword against the people, then the powerful should know that the people will raise their non-figurative swords.
December 9, 2024 at 4:51 PM
The powerful broke their agreement to not harm the people, so that the people won’t hunt the powerful.
December 9, 2024 at 4:51 PM
In large, the people suffer as the powerful hide behind tomes of byzantine laws, all designed to protect the powerful. The people are forced into agreeing to arbitration. Their living space poisoned for years, decades, and while it's indefinitely tied up in the courts, the toxic pollution continues.

And on and on!

Here, denying coverage (service that you paid for), requiring you to have a law degree to untangle their rules that they specifically set up to make as hard as possible for you to untangle, is the epitome of crass.
All while reeling from your or your loved ones illness.
December 9, 2024 at 4:49 PM
If the rules have clearly and abundantly failed the people, why should they follow them?
If it’s ‘rules for thee and not me’, then that works both ways.

Word to the powerful, you only have what you have because we let you have it.
A wise prince at all times strives to make sure his people are happy. Machiavelli said it better.

We should not listlessly cluck and squawk. Nor energetically languish.
What to do? Cawing about the problem of intolerance is not going to solve anything. Let’s spread our wings and share ideas that all are valid. We can squawk. And collect likes. Or can we collectively find a way to pull together?

For me the titular scene was when some villagers captured a bird, painted it with gaudy colors and released it to rejoin its flock. Only to watch their flock attack and kill the bird.

Sadly, I see the rising of ‘If you don’t look like us, then you can’t be one of us’.
December 8, 2024 at 10:23 PM
Oh, right. Why do I reference the Painted Bird?
The main thrust of the novel is rejection from society should you not look, sound, act, etc as to the norms of the community. It has been decades since I read the book.

Thank you! You two fine people for being willing to open up. Helped me understand and explore my monkey brain discomfort. I truly hope you are all doing well.

Later, I am forever grateful they and I had an open conversation regarding gender fluidity and transition.

Honestly after, I never felt that whisker again. Well, I may wonder at times, but this uncanny valley was never again a nagging ‘need to know’. It is a sliding scale.
December 8, 2024 at 10:22 PM
They just wouldn’t toggle in the two binary slots I had. I literally couldn’t figure out if I was talking to a woman or a man. And more, *why* did it bother my monkey brain? I really didn’t care. Yet that whisker tickling, not knowing. Was unable to just shut up!
