It goes without saying, but never take such ethos' to their extreme.
Family and friends both, if they are good, will want to help you. Help you through your problems as they want you to prosper.
Never completely isolate yourself. You aren't, im sure. But still.
If they want to help, let them.

Hell! I'm one! I've made plenty of art, which I've only shared with a select few people. And I know many who have (or in this case haven't, I suppose) done the same!

And then theres those who want to share it! But can't or won't for some reason or another.

Like, maybe they're embarrassed, or maybe they fear their art may be stolen. Or hell, used as AI data.
