Max range was unchanged as far as I know, but within the range yes, it's more likely to 2 shot farther than it was earlier.

And here's both versions overlaid on top of each other. Not the perfect showcase but yeah, 2 shot range was definitely slightly buffed.

I remembered I had version 10.0.1 on my old Switch 1 so here's a quick comparison. Tried to shoot right where the 50.6 damage started to fall off. Angles are a bit off but it's still slightly noticeable.
