Yeah. I lived in the Netherlands in 2004-2005 and studied Dutch politics in class. Really disheartening to watch a whole lot of anti-immigration, nationalist movements gain ground around the globe over the last 20 years. SINCERELY hoping these are the death throes and not our whole future.

This is 1000% true. And I do wonder when the cognitive dissonance about “land of the free” will set in for the red hats when the current admin is running roughshod over our constitutional law and rights.

I’m trying not to sound too old about this, but I think social media has worsened our current cultural divide because everyone can go to their own echo chamber for sources of info. People truly are living in different realities based on where they go for news. “Alternative facts” as they say 🥴

Absolutely. This show truly is the most accurate medical drama I’ve seen. Every episode has a conversation, conflict, or medical emergency that reflects exactly the kinds of events we encounter daily.
