Because my manager is not very involved and barely tracks what anyone does, I wrote something about my role in a non-existent project in my annual wrap-up report to test if she would notice it

The only downside is that this clinic isn’t covered by my insurance, so I have to pay everything out of pocket
But after nearly a year of being in pain every day, the prospect of finally finding a solution is worth it to me

He was also able to tell me that it's not surprising the previous treatment from the other clinic didn't do much for me: The spinal injection I received contained an anti-inflammatory, and a herniated disc obviously isn’t an inflammatory condition

I went to a different spine clinic and had a much better experience at this one than at the previous one
I was seen by a doctor that made eye contact, listened, asked check questions, clearly had read my file and did a physical exam
