The collage guardian of my cycle journal: made with national geographic magazines, garden magazine, and lisa frank stickers.
Over a decade ago, Molly Roberts introduced me to the "guardian" for your journal/sketch/writing.
Nation Geographic collage centers a coiled rattlesnake with a halo of static, a horseshoe at the end of its tail, facing it. Bubbles float along the left, as one bubble blocks out the moon the rattlesnake is gazing at. The moon's rays beam beyond the bubble. Vertical strips of pink gerbera daises border the bottom, hiding some of the rattlesnake. Heart and unicorn stickers of rainbow colors are strewn throughout the collage.
