One of the neighbors' many cats that tend to hang out on my porch, Lady Glitter Sparkle Fluff (we call her Sparkle Britches), has taken to sleeping in an unused plant urn and she says good morning.

It's mead time again. I'm making a 7 gallon batch... traditional in primary, but I am planning to add fruit in secondary and batch it out into three or four smaller batches. #mead #meadmaker

Spring has sprung, and in this... the Darkest Timeline... Wasps are now responsible for pollinating. I try to get a couple of shots every year of our fruitless peach tree. Caught this little guy and a buddy of his stealing Bee jobs.

While home sick with Covid, all I can do is watch movies during brief periods of blessed unconsciousness. I love the movie Scent of a woman, but I gotta say... he saw what happened and didn't come clean. Is that not Aiding and abetting? Why are we cheering for Charlie getting off scot-free?

Beautiful night tonight at Superior for the yearly anniversary dinner (anniversary was actually yesterday) and Stray Cats after. @ohwaitiforgot.bsky.social and I had way too much food and fun. It was a great night.

This is an interesting project idea to bring water to a dry yard and reclaim some storm water for irrigation.
