quando reduzi tudo pra 90% coloquei um fundo branco apenas no penhasco pra não ficar transparente e ainda conseguir o feito meio opaco que eu queria
apaguei com soft eraser fininha as bordas e depois fiz subposição do formato do penhasco com cores escuras pra simular um contorno

i mean, when we think about the time saved by this, it's totally worth it. the quality loss barely shows! so i'm very happy with it although i wish it didn't happen

to be totally fair, you can mess around with the settings and see if you can find a better result with the image processing (interpolation)... but the one i showed above (clear edges), for me, was the best option and it had still a bit of loss.

the thing about puppet warp is that: if you're a perfectionist freak like myself, the quality loss could be a bit bothersome
however! i still find it very good especially for inbetweening, when things like this will not show by the final result

i've been messing around with puppet warp and the lens blur filter and i have to say: AMAZING work
the 3D painting is awesome too, hope we can have it working on the heads soon
however...
