It’s the time of the year when we as academics need to remember, though we’re also tired, we were there and it wasn’t always great.

I don’t remember having a mentor who looked me in the eye and said, “you got this. I know you can do it.”

For them though, I can, & we should.

It’s been a while since I’ve read something that so accurately depicts the sub-threshold boiling inside me.
