Notice how narrow the claim is though.
“…he was privately cajoling a group of moderates not to fold before November.”
I think the headline has a lot of people assuming he fought for it to go past Sunday, which the article never claims. It just says not before November.

“It was 8. You saying it was all 47 of them is pretty much exactly what Sheldon was talking about.
He didn't even vote for this thing.”

The reason the Dems get away with “don’t blame me, those 8 voted for it” is because there are people who genuinely believe that’s how things work. It’s incredibly depressing.

Any Dem senator who isn’t publicly calling for Schumer’s ouster has to be assumed complicit. They did the same trick back in March. Most didn’t vote for the CR then either.

Don’t be too hard on yourself if you fall for a viral fake about Trump.
Trump tweeted an AI video of himself dropping literal shit on protesters and another about a bed that cures all disease.
Our current reality is beyond parody and it takes time to research whether something is authentic or not.

The claim in the article is much more narrow than the headline suggests.
"...he was privately cajoling a group of moderates not to fold before November."
That's in line with reporting that said Dems wanted to get to election day, Nov. 4, before folding.

Yeah this is one of many anti-Trump accounts on Twitter that clearly wants to go viral because their claims are plausible.

This viral fake was created by a Twitter account called TheRealThelmaJohnson.
They’ve done this format, a White House announcement riffing on ridiculous real news items, many times before.
And these often spread to other platforms like Instagram and Threads. (And Bluesky.)
