In an attempt to reduce costs and streamline production lines, the Seraph-class would be derived from the earlier Cherub-class battlecruiser. While the choice certainly resulted in a cheaper vessel than a bespoke design, the results were in the end, lackluster.

The Seraph-class carrier is one of the most feared vessels in Ashina. Carrying an arsenal of drones that allow it to interdict a multitude of targets with impunity, accompanied by the largest diameter particle lances ever fielded on a warship, there exists no direct equal in space warfare.
