I decided to do a bit of an outfit this Halloween so I made myself a Captian Pike uniform while working on dinosaur fossils today. (Pike cause he is canonically bearded for a while unlike Kirk 😂) #startrek #dinosaur

An absolutely gorgeous #tyrannosaur tooth that I collected from Dinosaur Provincial Park while working with the UofA palaeontology crew under Phil Currie. I found 3 of these beauties but this is the best! #fossilfriday

If you’ve seen Walking With Dinosaurs 2025 ep.5 “The Journey North” you would have seen this #Pachyrhinosaurus pathological rib. We had planned to talk about a different pathological rib that filming day but while the crew was setting up the cameras we found this one! Happy #fossilfriday #wwd2025

Fresh from the field! A tiny Boreonykus tooth I found at the Pipestone Creek Bonebed today! It’s less than a centimetre long! #fossilfriday

A cute little vertebra (but so squished) from the Pipestone Creek Bonebed that I finished preparing today. It looks vaguely like a theropod caudal to me. #fossilfriday

A #pachryhosaurus sternal plate I recently prepared. It was a hard bone to ID because I don’t think I’ve seen one before at Pipestone Creek Bonebed but know I know what to look for. #fossilfriday

The current state of the #pachyrhinosaurus skull that I helped collect in September. Preparation is going amazingly so far and I’ve found numerous fossils surrounding it including an ulna, quadrate, ischium and teeth. Not to mention vertebrae and ribs. #fossilfriday
