There's almost a whitewashing of US actions, as if they are not bad in and of themselves, but because of the bad example it sets for others.

Meanwhile the US has launched nearly 500 wars, interventions, coups, or other military actions since 1798, including backing an ongoing genocide.

How vocal about communism were you to him, and at what age?
I'm always worried about imposing my ideology on my own little brother, so I'd like your perspective.

To me this feels like taking personal offense over criticism/analysis of a thing you like. Like if someone said Avatar is a children's cartoon and you took offense because you're not a child. Though obviously here it's more subjective, because fun is more subjective.

Except I did not say that. Which is why I pointed out you're arguing a thing that is not here.
You have a right to be incensed about anything, everyone does, but it's not necessarily good for you. Pathfinder 2e is a fun game, people love it. It's design focus is undoubtedly Balance though.

But the goal here wasn't going for maximum fun, it was about maximizing balance while still keeping the game fun. Hence cares more about balance than fun. Not DOESN'T care about fun. Focus on A to achieve B. Several games try to focus on B primarily, and end up being utter design messes as a result.

Fun is mostly subjective. The Fun PF2e tries to go for, and greatly succeeds in, is incredibly tight and balanced combat. Often with this impressive feeling of "We're so fucked" before the players manage "miraculous" comeback.

There's no dismissivenes. While it is judging the game there is no inherent judgement of people who love that design style.

I love PF2e, it's one of my favorite ttrpgs. It cares more about Balance than Fun.
That is what the core design focus is - Balance. This is a point of friction, and can sometimes be a detriment.

You're arguing about what is being argued, instead of engaging with what is being said.
