The big thing for early development is high contrast black and white as they won't be able to see much color until 4-5 months of age, but into toddler ages having bright colors helps stimulate their imagination and critical thinking skills.
Infant vision development: Helping babies see their bright futures!
Eyes aren’t only the windows to the soul, vision is an important part of learning about, exploring and connecting with the world. Supporting your child’s visual development helps to set their sight on...

It bothers me deeply because high contrast colors are *so important* for early visual development and cognitive stimulation. Favoring decor over child development is absolutely awful

We do this too! Our most recent interesting grab was a movie called "a Knight's War" it's not amazing but it was surprisingly good! It has an almost dark souls like plot with an interesting mechanical premise, but I feel like they abandoned the premise too early in leu of a more generic plot.

This might be one of the raddest things I've ever seen

Their previous game, "The Finals" also used AI voices for the main announcers so I'm not too surprised

I didn't realize something could make me yearn for the old E3 "real gamers" trailers. At least in those the actors are talking to eachother

Like having the little droid in the recent Jedi games. Kal talks to it a lot when there's no one else around

If you are looking to run pathfinder/starfinder like what y'all played during the bombathon there are a number of one shot quests in the pathfinder society, and they come in seasons so if the one shots turn into a full blown campaign, each one shot builds on the story as you go.

If you are going simple to get people in people have mentioned honey heist and roll for shoes, I also like monster of the week for that x files/ Scooby doo/ buffy feel. There's also Paranoia if the plan is to go sci fi with a bit of an adversarial feel

The game breaking bugs are actually there as a celebration of the history of fallout 4. It wouldn't be representative as an anniversary piece without them.

She also has a "Gamer Moment™" every time you beat her which is so real.

My group went through 4-5 DMs online before I gave up and said "screw it, I'll just do it myself" and I've been our DM for the last 5 years. I get to play every now and again, but my main job is to make sure everyone gets to play.

I do hope, if you end up playing it, that you enjoy it. DnD can be very fun, but the hardest part is finding a group that you work well with and whose schedules align for play. Bg3 skirts around this while still feeling uniquely like a table top game, not just a video game.

Perhaps we can finally invest the money normally going to stocks into pension for workers like before Jack Welch stripped GE for parts

We're playing in a fantasy version of Tudor England and our GM had to remind everyone that gunslinger is a historically accurate class as they had matchlock, breach loaded firearms so basically most firearms with reload of 1 or 2 would be historically accurate.

Far worse than that: they are pro punishment. They see having a child and needing to raise a life under harsh conditions as punishment. Imagine someone looking you in the face and saying "you exist to punish your mother" I'd rather have been aborted
