So my neighborhood is very politically mixed but the street behind mine has a dozen MAGA signs and nowhere else in the neighborhood has that many? It’s weird and a little creepy, and the other houses all have little free libraries. It has to be a psyop street.

Massive Steel Magnolias vibes today at the neighborhood pool. Women I’ve known from school stuff talking about exes showing up and how you had to get them into church to hold boundaries and get God to deal with them, a child getting stuck in a baby swing, and an invitation to play monopoly.

I had a horrible day (again) because of circumstances beyond my control (again) but I also have been taking a multivitamin, vitamin D, and a PMS supplement and my new doctor is amazing and wonderful and I think we should be friends.

My sweet girls, who aren’t into football outside our local Catholic school’s fandom, were very upset by the Georgia loss today but expressed themselves by hollerin’ and intense smack talk about Alabama. Even the seven year old. It was something else.

Son still won’t wear real clothes but I told him to get dressed and he said “okay Mom” and grabbed the terrible fleece bathrobe he stole from his older sister and then wrapped himself carefully in it like a blanket. He gets the concept but the execution is a little lacking.
