Many reasons why everyone must read Octavia Butler. The most compelling is her writing about MAGA in the early 90s (women indeed are pattern spotters and foretellers of truth), but also is her excellent criticism of religion and cults. Loved it.

Set up my first ever Christmas tree, and made some baubles.

Some more handmade things are on the way, but she is already so glorious!!
