The first species that we will be focusing on, fat-tailled arborosaurs are part of the group that gave rise to the diubrachiums, the arborosaurs. Arborosaurs are named after the time they spent in the trees. The fat tailled are special because they store their fat in their tail (wow you think?) it helps them with swinging their body wich gives them great mobility compared to others in the same group that don't have such tails.

Leafy is a male make-up leafneedle(this is the spieces common name), he is curently swiming around and if you look closly at his eye you can see where the "make-up" part of the name comes form. We can tell this is a male because females are more yellow and they have a flase eye on their caudal fin.

I call it, the pelagic oyster.
It floats on water and wanders around using a foot that it uses as a fin.
It is bathtub shaped, permits life to grow in a micro-inviroment, in exange for this protection the oyster filters plankton out to eat.

This shows the shape of the top shell to show how the oyster is bathtub shaped. Showing the shape of the foot it uses to swim, the foot wrapes around the shell and then at the middle it goes down to form a sort of fin.
