I was so hopeful about this job. I’ve been applying for jobs for over two years now. I was really excited about this one. This is the 4th rejection of 6 jobs I’ve interviewed for in the past 6 weeks. I’m tired! And sad. 😔😔😔

I did this! A new IL law now allows name changes w/o newspaper publication. When I was on a queer issues panel, I mentioned how it can be dangerous for trans folx to publish name changes. The three law makers there hadn’t realized this prob. They heard me and got this through the legislature.
