I don’t agree with it which is why I said they operate under the illusion that we are a democracy.

The King has very little power and is only head of state in name. The US is both representative democracy and republic.

I’ve not read the Worst Witch but I grew up watching the show and you’re right. There are similarities between the two. I never noticed that before.

I plan to make this my reality within the next 5 years. However, the Highlands will be changed to one of the islands as I’m growing far too tired of mainland Scotland and need further away.

There are very few nations that are democratic. Most operate under the illusion that they are democratic and have been like that for decades if not centuries. The only difference is governments allow the media to do the dirty work for them.

My writing process is the same. It is one of the reasons why one of my writer friends, who is also an editor, checks each chapter and provides feedback to keep me going. Now that I am learning to be a developmental editor, I can see the “flaws” and quickly change them.
