Are you/we becoming numb to the suspension of truth in the daily barrage of lies and misinformation coming out of the present totalitarian regime? I pace myself reading and absorbing reputable news sources. But I’m challenging myself to stay connected to people of resistance. Peace.

It is more and more evident to me that spirituality and social justice need to be the center of resistance conversations. Not institutional religion … spirituality. Stating more convos and staying at the table on ones that are happening.

It has been and will continue to be a stressful week as the MAGA oligarchs continue their coup. I am only one, but I speak truth to power in my small area of the country. I implore resistance in anyway you can. Deny lies and deceit to influence your actions for relationships and diversity.

On Monday I was backing out of my parking space. I heard someone banging on my car window. There was an elderly man screaming at me, “Trump is right… all women need to be shot.” I know he is in need of mental health treatment, but be careful and vigilant. Violence can happen anywhere, any time.

I still have my Harris/Walz campaign poster in my window where people can see. Okay, judgement may say stupid. I say… as events get darker and darker in 2025, I can promise everyday to resist and bring compassion to those who are suffering. Be safe today.

I was at the market today with a huge cart of items ready for check out. Gentleman came and stood behind me in line. Only a few items. “Please go ahead of me” said I. He looked at me and started to cry. It’s not rocket science to make someone’s day. Be safe you warriors of resistance.

Please be safe today. Find your support community and reach out to support and be community for folks you notice are struggling and alone. There is so much anger swirling around that it can only be stopped and eliminated by care and compassion.

Question… did RFK jr mention the reduction of processed foods in the diets of US citizens? I can get excited about that but not his anti-vaccination stance.
