Man, I saw Lymbyc Systym absolutely lay waste to Cincinnati bars a couple times in this era, once with Nick Zammuto from The Books. Great band I should clearly revisit

That promo pic combined with the 90s-ska-promo-sticker-evoking text makes me laugh every fucking time. May this tour continue forever.

This (and Dublin a few years later) have just been on constant rotation in my life for 15 years and honestly make up like 90% of my Cohen listening by now. The one show I caught in 2012 glows above basically any other in my life. Perfect albums from perfect tours.

Man, I might be able to get FOUR in a ring around Cincy, all on school nights, with minimal difficulty. It'll likely land at two, but I'm claiming victory.

One of those songwriters where his delivery is so essential to the way it lands. It would be real hard to cover "Reel to Reel" and have it carry the same weight.

I've been slowly listening through the 70s over the last 5 years and one of the greatest joys is hearing her harmony lines evolve in 73-74. These perfect subtle accents that draw my attention show after show. I adore Donna and anyone who doesn't can fuck off. Thankful I saw her with D&Co at Bonnaroo

Listened to Portsmouth relentlessly across a bleak Indiana winter in college most of 20 years ago. One of the finest boots out there, and certainly a favorite.

RIDICULOUS lineup!

If you pitched the story of the last month as a film, it would get rejected immediately. He summons everything he has left to play one last show, a years-long dream. He rises, triumphant and spectacular beyond all expectation. He raises $200 million for charity. And then he's gone.
