The state of the internet is every bit a political problem as it is a consumer one. Cory Doctorow's work is worth reading on this, and I'd highly recommend his books.

Anyone got recommendations for horror slashers where "the final girl" is a man/masc individual?

Hostel springs to mind but I'm drawing a bit of a blank at the moment!

Truly amazing the number of young men who can't differentiate between good male lead-acting and just "a male character being intimidating/cool"...

Their sole metric for good acting is "can they be convincingly angry/cruel?"

Anton Chugurgh/ Red Reddington etc etc.

Says a lot.

Horror is one of my favourite genres to talk about because it is a unique psychoanalytic windown!

For example, Dawn of the Dead famously expresses anxiety around the empty consumerism typified by the sterile hallways of a shopping mall.

The stories that scare us tell us a lot about ourselves...

My guerilla folk-horror film "FAE" is in post-production right now and I need a femme scots-gaelic voice actor. I'm willing to pay and it's less than 100 words of script!

All I can find at the moment is irish-gaelic and I really want to keep it authentic by using scots-gaelic. Hit me up!
