Okay, Painbow, that sounds cool and all but we all know catalyst can't layout or organise a book to save their lives! Why should I trust this'll be any different? Because Catalyst aren't handling this one beyond distribution in the US chummer! Anarchy 2.0 is a Black Book Editions project!

Then there are Cues and Dispositions! Cues are catchphrases, and witty one liners while dispositions are how your character behaves day to day and while running. By playing into them you get edge, breathing life into your runner in ways that Distinctive Style flaw never quite managed to scratch.

Pretty wiz right? But wait there's more! Edge is still here but now it's focused on being a true metacurrency, you can spend it to reroll all your dice, to trigger a flashback mechanic akin to blades in the dark, or to make a narrative declaration (Guarantee your fireball sets something on fire!)

Shadow Amps are how you represent your magic abilities, your ware, and your bad attitude. You're drek hot, and the world's gonna know it! Shadow Amps can do a lot of stuff and one of those uses is "free" risk dice, allowing you to add some risk dice to your roll while ignoring the glitches rolled.

You might knock the door off it's hinges, but those three glitches you rolled mean you dislocate your shoulder in doing it. Nasty right? Well that's where your ShadowAmps come in.

Not enough sauce for you? Well let's knock it up a notch, you'll also have Risk Dice! You can replace dice in yourpool with risk dice, risk dice score two hits when they succeed, but if you roll a 1 you get a complication, the more 1s rolled, the greater the complication

What do those statuses mean for the enterprising runner? Well, omae, it means that if you have advantage your scoring hits on 4s, 5s, and 6s, if you have disadvantage you're only scoring hits on a roll of a 6. No more slew of +1 and -1 floating mods that ultimately have little impact on your roll.

What does Anarchy 2.0 do differently to Vanilla Shadowrun you ask? well, the rues are way stripped back, it's still a d6 dicepool of Attribute + Skill + specialties but now instead of statistically negligibile floating modifiers rolls are either at Advantage or Disadvantage!
