Leadership development guru. Talks about raising kids while caretaking (horray, sandwich generation!), books (lots of books!), Buffalo and snow and the Bills. A safe space, always.

TODAY WE MOBILIZED OVER 3 MILLION PEOPLE ACROSS THE NATION!!!

This movement has entered the next chapter: the people will mobilize again, and again, until we make a difference.

It only takes 3.5% of the population in a sustained resistance in order to make a difference.

Remembering with fondness the days when the Backstreet Boys emphatically assured one another that, yes, they were original! And sexual! Modern male fragility could never.

Not gonna lie - I'm not loving the lack of doing it in Onyx Storm. Rebecca Yarros, some of us are not here (exclusively) for the dragons. #BookThreads

It’s #InternationalWomensDay! Being a woman, founder AND a mother means living in a constant state of figuring it out, There’s definitely no instruction manual (for entrepreneurship OR for kids). What’s 1 lesson you’ve learned as a woman navigating leadership and motherhood? I'll go first. 👇

Tired of playing 'who wore it better' with my teenage self. Especially because she did. Crop tops just hit different once humans have lived in your torso. Can we get some longer shirts, here...please?

"Because I said so" doesn't work for kiddos and it sure as hell doesn't work for employees. Good leaders share the why, not just the what, so their teams understand, buy in and make it happen.

Tried to read "The Unteethered Soul" for a full month (I know, I'm behind the times here); I had heard such great things, but was profoundly dissapointed. I don't know, I just felt...bad about my anxious/depressed brain the whole time I was reading. Was this just me? What am I missing? #BookThreads

Being a parent right now is unhinged because you have to do things like go to Disney on Ice as if the world isn’t on fire.

Not every "fire drill" needs to set your team running. Leaders, part of your job is playing smoke detector.

Figure out if that "urgent" ask is really right-now worthy, or just noise from above (or beyond) and support your team to prioritize accordingly. 👊

My kids singing B-U-F-F-A-L-O, Bills will win the Super-Bowl to the tune of "Hot to Go" is exactly the energy I need us to bring to the weekend.

Living in Western New York is great because ‘Go Bills’ means hello, goodbye, thank you, you’re welcome, have a great day, and ‘f*ck you very much’, all in one. Perhaps the most versatile phrase in the English language. 🦬

"Mama, what's vigilante shit?" - My six year-old, reminding me that fan-girling too hard does, in fact, have consequences.

This year, over 1 billion people will experience #Menopause, and yet only 5% of U.S. companies offer menopause benefits (counseling, education, menopause/mentstrual leave). We have to do better for women who deserve support, not stigma.

OMG, am I... *checks notes* an EARLY ADOPTER? This has never happened to me before!

Hello! I'm new here. What's a perimenopausal mom of two / business owner / caregiver to two parents / book fanatic / Buffalo resident / liberal AF human like myself need to know? Do we hashtag? Who wants to befriend me?
