I only recently stopped to ask myself after a life time of anxiety: wait am I actually anxious or am I terrified? Turns out I’m terrified!

Huh.. that’s terrifyingly dystopian

Essentially, we’re cooked.

I don’t think I realized until recently that I used to think Americans were proud that we’re considered a melting pot. I always thought that was so cool. But I see now that the rich oligarchs who dominate our lives hope to bury our differences in a deep grave and place a MAGA flag on top

Millions of Americans are foaming at the mouth to see women stripped of their rights, kids brought up by Christian nationalist ideals devoid of any culture that makes them unique, and the slow but lethal suffocation of freedom of expression.

In Texas (and the others sure to follow), women will be forced to give birth (assuming they can survive it), and those children they birth will grow up in a world where books are banned, biblical teachings in schools are common place, and families are locked up in freshly built detainment camps.

Now they’re working to rewrite history and fill classrooms with Christian nationalist propaganda that describes slavery as a compromise. Private school voucher programs will ultimately kill public schools, shunting those kids into private schools focusing on biblical teachings.
