Thank you for clarifying this. I thought the National Guard was the “states” militia the constitution talked about. Looks like I need to go back and review that part of our constitution. Thank you!!

Because he doesn’t want a large scale loss of life which is what might happen. And with this administration, he might be hanged for treason. The Supreme Court and Congress has given Trump a green light to do whatever he wants. It’s not an easy decision.

Actually they do. This is an invasion of the federal government against a state. Article 1 Section 10. Unfortunately, the ICE agents outnumber the police in the city including 10 surrounding suburbs. Their national guard would need to help. Waltz could call them up.

We need to stop calling these people Christian nationalists. They are just radical nationalists. There is nothing Christian about what they’re doing! The media needs to confront this, by asking something like, didn’t Jesus feed the poor? Didn’t he instruct us to take care of the marginalized?

What bugs the crap out of me is he can write these reports without the public having any way to challenge his opinion. And yes, I realize people on here and talking heads are on it, but I’d sooooo love to have his email!!!

I’m sure he is a very capable person in yesteryear, but today requires a different kind of energy and he just doesn’t have it. How can she not see that. And I didn’t hear her say anything about Schumer, but maybe I missed that.
