I finally got to watch the (1982) The Thing. and my gosh, I was floored at how good everything was, the practical effects and puppets, the directing, the movies story/pacing. The way they even directed the dog. Everything was SO GOOD.

I love looking at this. I would get a poster of this, the way you did the texture and those little hidden gold swirls in the eyes. great job. also really love the white and black version, both are so cool.

God so true,😆 I love my PC its a tank, but boy dealing with windows every year is just a fun new parade of problems. I do miss the days when we didn't have to be so reliant on computers and internet for literally every dang thing.

Also yeah a mechanical shark I could see myself going crazy on, still trying to figure out how to handle that one lol 😂
I still think you do a fantastic job at balancing the process and time given and still make it look like a fully realized polished illustration. That's some serious skill. 💪

very clever! An important factor for any art challenges; planning ahead. Anyone can take weeks or months on one picture. Doing it in a certain amount of time is the fun part. Every theme you've been nailing the concept and in a decent amount of time too! your final art and time management is amazing

That makes me so happy to hear, thank you! 😭 ❤️ I was actually really worried about this one landing visually. I do think it was worth it to take a chance on the concept and trusting people will find the shark.
