The Radiant King had some really fun side characters and the world-building was interesting—but the main characters felt flat, and the omnipotent POV made it hard to connect. Still, I’m curious about the sequel!

Took a fantasy break for a thriller for close your eyes and count to 10 by Lisa unger- This is a great beach read, simple, engaging, however it had opportunities to really dive into the influencer commentary if only it didn’t take itself too seriously.

I’ve unintentionally put a pause on one dark window. Loving it but, of course I got distracted.
I’m halfway through Grave Empire. Holy moly is this fun. I’ve been more scared at times reading this than the horror books I’ve read recently.
