If you, a mother, ask for recommendations for your 20 something son for non-European Scifi/Fantasy books... don't tell me he's macho & probably wouldn't read a female author. This is an educational moment for your son (sounds like you too).🤦♀️ Buy the book, smile proudly that you are supporting women.

I have needed to be reminded recently to look around me & remember things I am grateful for. And not because it's Thanksgiving, but of course today too... my shop gives me purpose, community, & somewhere I can feel safe/seen. There are tough days ahead, but this shop is my touch of magic & hope. 💗

Does anyone else struggle with DNFing their monthly Book Club picks? I lead my shop's club and have shown up having not finished reading, but I eventually do. I pick the original books we vote on, but this one? Sheesh, I'm on the struggle bus to finish and want to finish by Tuesday!
