I kind of agree, but to say "Americans told themselves would "never happen" in the country" isn't quite accurate. Many of us KNEW it would happen, but the votes counted were in favor of the Americans that told themselves it would "never happen". The rest of us knew it would!

Sounds like the people are working for Trump, and not vise-versa. In my humble opinion, the President of the United States is elected by the people and is expected to represent their interests and serve the nation. The President works for the people and should be making things easier, not harder.

I so disagree with using the phrase "The Pair" to refer to Trump and Obama. One was great president who is well respected worldwide and respects the rules and laws of a democracy, and one has caused the USA to be the laughing stock of most of the world and does not.
