Ecosystem restoration delights: yesterday, on a log, a 1.5 in. long Western Fence Lizard was doing baby push-ups to claim territory. I said, "Dude! See that lizard over there, the one ten times your size? HE owns this spot." Love forest floors. Yummy bugs. Cool battles. Great entertainment! 🦎🌎 /|\

In hindsight, I kind of wish I'd opted for the BDO Bardic course instead of the OBOD one. I have mixed feelings about the OBOD course so far, and the BDO one is cheaper... Maybe I'll do the BDO course eventually too 🤔 /|\

Apparently I'll be assigned an OBOD mentor this month! I applied at the start of September, so the waiting list must be humongous. I feel sorry for the OBOD office having to deal with such a massive influx of members requesting mentors, must be pretty overwhelming. /|\

Random question for #DruidSky, how do you all feel about the roles of Bard, Ovate, and Druid? Do you feel that they fit your practice, and do you identify with any of them in particular? /|\

Hello BlueSky Druid Grove! /|\ I'm a longtime nature-over but newish to druidry. I'm big on nature connection, and I love invertebrates, fungi, and trees. I have a habit of starting druidry courses/books, getting dissatisfied, then bobbling off to do my own thing. Possibly a hedge-druid at heart! 😅

Where I'm currently at, druidry-wise:

- my practice is land-based, connection with the outdoors is my number one priority
- I express my love of non-human nature through drawing and sometimes poetry
- I'm partway through OBOD Bardic but not really vibing with it tbh, prefer to do my own thing
