Gen Xers knew all those old stuff from the 30s to 60s because cable TV showed them. Same for millennials. I wouldn't assume younger people would know, but at the same time, it wouldn't be odd if they did. That poster is just being unnecessarily snarky.

I think you missed the meaning of their comment. It wasn't about being surprised they didn't know it, but FEELING old realizing people in their 30s don't know it.
