The report calls for immediate action to mitigate the devastating impact on communities worldwide and serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of foreign aid cuts to communities that were already under-resourced and experiencing protection threats.

Before January 2025, the U.S. government was the lead donor to all four communities surveyed. Our report highlights the severe consequences of the aid cuts and underscores the critical role that U.S. assistance played in providing essential services and support to populations impacted by conflict.

Today, the US determined the RSF have committed genocide in Sudan & issued sanctions on Hemedti, seven companies + one individual, linked to the RSF, based in the UAE.
