Senior lecturer until the end of July. Interested in history, art, travel, drama, sustainable thinking. Researching movement and nature, and how nature and bodywork may bring us to a more balanced and less extractive relationships.
This may be off base but the work of Amartya Sen and John Rawls provide lenses through which to critique built environments in terms of accessibility, Sen's capability approach and Rawls, social justice.

It's been good, I have connected with most of the accounts I used to follow. I haven't posted much as my uni and dept is currently going through redundancies and reapplying for jobs so have been preoccupied.

Hannah Arendt for me. Her understanding of plurality and unpicking of totalitarianism. Also the work of Maxine Greene and her thinking around the importance of the imagination and art in social activism and justice.

Similar, most colleagues who could leave or take EVR have already gone. Those of us left will be reapplying for our jobs over the coming month which is always tricky when your course no longer exists...

I live between 2 pubs and am grateful that any music or outside drinking in summer finishes at 11pm. It would be a nightmare if they were able to open beyond that regularly. I work full time and sometimes like a quiet weekend. Not sure how this would work in residential areas.
