Jain Zar WiP, going Vaporwave style with this one and going to attempt some gold NMM on the armoured sleeve, breast plate, head piece and leggings (all those parts currently based in brown). Never done NMM before so this will be a learning experience...

Finally found some time to do some hobbying, and after starting a new #DnD campaign I decided to model and print my character - Angus Earthsunder, the Dwarven Druid. Also jumping on the #KimeraKolors bandwagon and testing out these bad boy single pigment artists acrylics... So far really liking them

Finally found some time to do some hobbying, and after starting a new #DnD campaign I decided to model and print my character - Angus Earthsunder, the Dwarven Druid. Also jumping on the #KimeraKolors bandwagon and testing out these bad boy single pigment artists acrylics... So far really liking them
So I started a new job and it's been a big spoon drain, as such I haven't posted in a while, but decided today to get something out there, this was a fantasy bear I started a while ago as a study on fur painting and am tempted to go back to it in an attempt to get back to my hobbying ways...

Hobby Streak Day 6:
I'll be perfectly honest, I am thoroughly unhappy with today's progress, I'm probably gonna strip it and start over, completely overworked the weapon and hand and it just looks a bit shit. I'm quite busy next week so this may be the end of this streak, not a good day for me.

Got the skin on the left arm completed, now time to take a look at the hand/weapon metallics and other small details. Once I've completed that I can start taking a look at the main body and can't forget the grot gunner to go on top.

Hobby Streak Day 4:
Didn't achieve as much as I would've liked today, but still got something done and that's the core point of hobby streaks. Started on the left arm, experimented with some metallics but wasn't happy with them so blacked them out and started on the skin instead.

Finished up the right arm, brought the green shade up to match the face and finished up the detailing including Cigar, Rusty Metal Cuff and Fur trim (Yep that brownish white fur totally came from a fenrisian wolf don't @ me Space Wolves!!) and added a yellow tint to the nails.

Moving on from head to some arm work, still need to finish the green on the hand and then bring the skin tone up a couple shades to match the face, and then work on the nails, cigar, metal cuff and fur trim details but still, hobbying was done and that's what really matters...
