I can think of at least five countries where post-war US military intervention lead to less destruction and/or more stable and prosperous states. If you're counting ANY US military support the list gets so long I'd need to start writing them down to keep track.

I'm no fan of DSA but this exact thing happened to my mother in law's modest house in Florida and the California-based company that bought it also bought a more expensive one two houses away. They're both still uninhabited a few years later.
