The Choctaw Nation Trail of Tears Bike Team (2025) have made it back to Tribal Headquarters in Oklahoma safely and very happily. Genuinely honoured to have been invited by the Team to join them, & awed at the support....

Chief Gary Batton rode in with us, & there was a huge welcome waiting.

Choctaw Nation Trail of Tears Bike Team ride, Day 3. Monticello to Camden, Arkansas. Learned about river cane along the way, courtesy of Ryan Spring (Tribal Historic Preservation Department), as well as about the Choctaw ancestors' journey through Camden, AR.

Tallulah, Louisiana to Lake Village, Arkansas, via the U.S. Highway 65 (the Delta Rhythm & Bayous Highway). Day 2 of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Bike Team's Trail of Tears ride. The distances covered by Choctaws during the 1830s are simply staggering....
