MI5 admit to spying on Belfast-based journalist’.

Great to see my book with these two important analyses. How much longer will the British government continue cover-up the role of the intelligence services and their agents who operated without a legal framework and accountability throughout the conflict? Families need the truth.

What a privilege to be able to take a photo of Fair Head on the Antrim coast as I try to rid my mind of the daily horror images from Gaza and reflect on the total failure of the international rule of law.

PSNI arrest a 74-year-old woman for having an article, namely T-shirt, that indicates support for Palestine Action. (Picture: Mal McCann) PSNI clearly need more officers to deal with this heighten terrorism threat.

Excellent talk by Chris Moore at Féile an Phobail on his four-decade long investigation
exposing MI5's systematic attempts to cover up the abuses by paedophiles of boys in the Belfast children’s home. His book is essential reading to understand the unaccountability of MI5.

Good luck Rory! A view from Ballycastle towards Portrush. A red sky at night a shepherd’s delight!

The stunning beauty of the North Antrim coastal path with a glimpse of White Park Bay. A welcome escape from the sickening daily diet of death and destruction and the impotency of international rule of law.

Palestine Action (PA) will be proscribed at midnight under the Terrorism Act first introduced in 1974 - ‘Temporary Provisions’ in brackets! ‘Draconian’ and ‘unprecedented in peacetime’ (Roy Jenkins). 50 years on, anyone belonging to or supporting PA will be punishable by up to 14 years. Shameful.

Second day of the Advan in London in support of a public inquiry, as demanded by NI High Court, into the murder of Sean Brown which is believed to have included paid agents of the State. No more delay. Uphold the rule of law.

So Palestine Action will be proscribed under terrorism laws, but government refuses to hold public inquiry despite court order into murder of GAA official, Sean Brown by terrorists some of whom were believed to be state agents. Look out for the Advan today.

Indeed. But will anyone in the English press comment on the differential treatment?

A must read. Moore, a BBC journalist, exposes MI5’s attempts to cover-up abuse of boys in Kincora and a paedophile ring whose members included Mountbatten. For more on MI5’s role during the conflict in NI see my book Decades of Deceit: The Stalker Affair and its Legacy @btpbooks.bsky.social

A campaign for justice gains increasing support. Thousands join the ‘Walk for Truth’ demanding the British government set up a public inquiry into the killing of Sean Brown, a GAA official, by a loyalist gang which included state agents. Will this event be covered by the British press - or ignored?

A great event last night at WoW festival in Liverpool. John Finucane, MP, talking about his family’s journey to the promised public inquiry into the murder of his father & me talking about my book Decades of Deceit:The Stalker affair and its Legacy. Great interest & engagement from packed audience.

NI Appeal Court affirms Hight Court ruling ordering the government to hold a public inquiry into the murder of Sean Brown, killed by loyalists among whom were paid state agents. The order would now come into effect on 2 June. Below Bridie Brown (87) after today’s hearing - the 59th.

A must read article by Robin McKie in The Observer today. When are going to take the existential threat to life on the planet seriously?
