I grow lots of native plants to use in gardens at our home and to give away. That book describes soils plants prefer, seed germination technique, how long plants live.... just wonderful stuff.

Congrats on teaching middle school kids. I taught 7th grade life science for 39 years in Minnesota and loved it. We grew native plants from seed under grow lights in the room and built pollinator gardens on school grounds with those plants. We raised money for solar panels on the schools.
