The UK govt should admit that proscribing Palestine Action was a cock up and should be reversed. The terrible attack in Manchester is what terrorism looks like, poles apart from a group non violent human rights advocates.

I would be surprised if Epstein wld have succeeded in a defamation suit against someone who he says called him a paedophile, given his conviction for prostitution of a minor.

If Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has info that Palestinian Action is a violent group, she should provide evidence. I doubt she can. Meanwhile she should proscribe the IDF & Israeli govt, who definitely are.

For the first time in many years, if ever, I’m beginning to feel oddly trendy. I saw Black Sabbath at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1978, & Judas Priest a few times in the early 80s. No wonder I need hearing aids!

Great article. Remember that the first Nazi concentration camps came before the Holocaust but led inexorably towards it. Every step into the sewer gets more slippery.

My dad, born 8 May 1920, joined the Royal Navy in 1938 & fought through WW2 on Malta & Atlantic convoys & Coastal Forces in the Med.

VE Day, his birthday, always meant a lot to me, esp now when we need to rekindle that spirit as the plutocrats, autocrats & other idiots are flirting with WW3.
