I had a bit of an adventure on my dog walk this morning. I saw a man sitting on the curb and a mother mallard, in obvious distress. I saw a water grate and the chicks were in the water. Another neighbor and family were able to rescue them. See comment for pics #rescue #birds #ducklings #neighbors

Back at you, from my own Doris. Also known as the Lolly rose, since my 91 yo wonderful mother-in-law just moved in, and we needed a rose to join the ones for my two daughters and my mom. She picked Doris Day for her rose, and both are thriving in their new home.

The suet feeder is Squirrel proof, Starling proof, but not Flicker proof. I am OK with that.

My husband and I just traveled to your area, and stayed at Cochise Stronghold ranch with our trailer. We saw a recently released Golden Eagle and hiked the Cochise Indian Trail . We also went to the Amerind Museum and Portal area. Loved our stay in your area. And met other blue dots.
