I'm going to test this out at our armory this week. Cool list.

I'm looking into building a cube, but don't know how to start. What kind of cube was it? how did it go?

My initial idea was doing a heavy hitters inspired arena cube, and I'm still looking for a creative (and working) way to draft equipment, arena style.

I want to add: while browsing cards, new deck ideqs pop up and you end up with 10 piles of possible decks and eventually you forget what you were looking for

This is so realistic.

Ooh. I missed that. They are going fast and hard on Sage. I hope they don't overshoot it.

Valencia is marketed as the kick off. So for those joining valencia, it would take a bit of the value for that away, no?

Hey, I was wondering, is there a way to collect feedback from people playing my public decklists?

Do we have a date yet?
What location do you think?

Well, traffic was a disaster and we arrived 4 h later than expected, so missed that opportunity :s

Was it a standard cheerios like list with that added or a new build to optimize Beacon?

For the world premiere, go for the calling. It is a new set and playing 7 rounds with your sealed decks is the best way to learn and go deeper into the new set. For other callings, I would only participate if I feel confident enough in the format.

With mtg experience are more into limited than those coming from other card games. And also that limited is more popular with casual and beginning players.

I hope they keep support for limited play. It is sad to see that those show less frequent in skirmish and PQs. We had (in our area) a bad year on product availability that slightly influenced that, but also time limitations (events take some time) and popularity.
I personally observe that people..

For LL. The game is growing, so many players are relatively new to the game. LL is based more on nostalgia.
Personally, I think it is a bit too early for LL. It will take some time for people to look back positively on a format with starvo, mystic heroes,…

The point I want to make is that the person winning a LL PQ already has their practice on talishar. And will play more on talishar. If PQ is your only testing ground, you probably don’t win a PQ.

I am afraid the person you described probably does not exist.
LL has its problems. This rule is not the problem nor solution.
Ironically, I see the unnuanced discusion on this rule already destroys more than the rule itself.

You don’t win a LL PQ by accident.

Lots?? I think the affected people are a very very small group of players.
July 24, 2025 at 7:53 AM
How many players will be affected?

Thanks for sharing.
Our community is also very enthusiastic to build decks for a new open format. We are running a league with 11 players right now. 11 different heroes.

As much as I dislike CYB, I do wonder if CYB is to blame here? That is on the opponents with unsportmanship towards new players really. :(
May 20, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Ah, maybe yes. I am maybe more looking into limited.
Maybe the heroes are more ‘open’ this time?

It was the same with the hunted. I remembee Fang was first perceived the bad choice in limited, untill Prague brought the full set.
