If she picks someone young with a high upside, then I suspect she won’t run in ‘26 and has chosen her successor.
If she chooses someone less appealing, then she runs or will back someone else (P. Grassley).

What is scary is that 28 states have already voted for a constitutional convention that has no governing structure. They are working to change the constitution in other ways.
