A Victorian ghost haunting the pnw, pretending to be a proper lady - powered by rain, candlelight, and mild disdain.
Pinned
This time of year, PNW witches rise: candlelit baths morning and night, whispering spells to houseplants, brewing potions (herbal tea), and drawing power from the rain. Their rituals? Moody playlists and a seasonal existential crisis.

I actually have floating hearts around me at all times.

Oh, what a delight it is to dress with intention, only to be met with the ever bewildered “Why are you so dressed up?” My dear, must I have a court summons or a séance to justify escaping the tyranny of sweatpants? Perhaps I simply wish to haunt these streets with dignity.

I’ve decided to spend the next four years perfecting simple syrups for my coffee and tea and ignoring the news, as any respectable Victorian recluse would. This black sesame syrup feels appropriately gothic; dark, brooding, and perfect for sipping while the world carries on without me.

Night falls like ink spilling across the sky, and the rain hums its lullaby against the roof. The fir trees stand as silent sentinels, their shadows stretching into the dark. Do you ever feel more alive in the stillness of the night?

This morning, I rose before dawn, the house silent, and sat under the glow of the Christmas tree, true crime murmuring in my ears. Holiday cheer, right? By afternoon, post-presents, we’ll trade twinkling lights for the shadows of a Nosferatu matinee. Vampires and holiday magic, what could be better?

Ah, dearest patrons, why is it busy two days ere Christmas? Could it be… Christmas? Fear not, I shall brave the mercantile chaos. Pray, be kind to your weary shopkeeper this day.

Christmas in the Pacific Northwest-where the twinkling lights fight the fog, the fir trees are still damp from yesterday’s rain, and holiday magic smells like wet moss and cedar. Forget snow-here, it’s a season of shadows and soft, green light. What’s your version of holiday spirit?

Friday the 13th- a day shrouded in rain and restless whispers. Historically bound to love goddesses and lunar cycles, it’s not cursed- just a haven for those who crave the untamed and the forbidden. My favorite.

Homemade salted maple brown sugar coffee syrup- because mornings need a little alchemy. One stir, and suddenly coffee feels like a secret kiss in a jar. Small rituals, big procrastination. What’s your favorite morning indulgence?

Nothing says Christmas cheer like flammable decorations and sitting quietly by the tree, pondering the weight of existence. A simpler time? Perhaps. A fire hazard? Most definitely. May your holidays be just as glowing.

The art of gifting need not cost a king’s ransom. A sprig of holly tied with velvet ribbon, a handwritten note sealed with wax - such simple offerings, imbued with thoughtfulness, outshine the most elaborate treasures.

While holiday shopping picture yourself promenading through cobblestone streets, parasol in hand. Would this gift cause a lady to pause and gasp at its loveliness, or would it gather dust in the corners of her sitting room? Let such questions guide your purchases.

I rose before dawn and watched the sunrise - a fleeting masterpiece for those willing to rise early. Now I’m drinking matcha, plotting today’s triumphs, and silently side-eyeing yesterday’s unfinished chaos. What’s your first move this morning?
