I got a decent video of one of my local Stellar's Jays eating at my deck. They're surprisingly skittish given that they're known in national parks for literally stealing your lunch out of you hand. They're related to crows but a little smaller and look like the bottom half was dipped in navy blue.

Lastly we went to Stavanger to see the UiS archeological museum recommended by @ellenhagen.bsky.social and to see Lysefjord. I forgot to take pics at the museum but much to my surprise I did get to meet Ellen! This museum is very well done! The fjord tour took us past Preikestolen to Hengjanefossen.

The Folk Museum in Oslo is amazing. They brought together hundreds of historic buildings from all over Norway to be preserved together. These are from the last 800 years, which includes this stave church.

I recently got a chance to visit Europe for the first time and saw parts of Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Absolutely beautiful part of the world! I didn't take enough pictures but here are some of Norway in late August with amazing weather.
