Even parted from the horrid harp, Lawyn’s body still shudders between tendon and sinew and pulse with a different song. Ache, ache, ache, it is deeper in his bones than that cold touch had been. It touches deeper than his flesh, reaching through him to try and grasp something that isn’t there - through him to where there is nothing. No primordial soul, no ancient self. Even Stars Must Die it sings through him, a song blue in color and feeling inside of him that makes every part of him that he is made of chatter. He’d only played a few notes.
