actually now that I think of it, is part of what make jikyu so good that junkyu is a cat with puppy-like features & jihoon is a puppy with cat-like features? 🤔

and 🐨 is like ??? he talked to you abt his older brother? he almost never does, and 🦋 is surprised bc 🐶 is constantly chattering abt [][]-hyung to him? and 🐨 is like you mean... his bf [][]-hyung? and suddenly everything becomes clear to 🦋

in my mind probably 🐶 has had an older boyfriend this whole time that 🦋 has somehow accidentally mixed up with 🐶's actual older brother, which he only discovers after he offhandedly mentions that it's nice 🐶 & his older brother are so close

on the other hand, going out with 🐶 is really fun--they share a lot of interests and tastes, and whenever 🦋 starts to get the itch to go outside, 🐶 is always up for a walk through the shopping district to check out the new kapit*l collection

it doesn't help that 🐶&🐨's relationship is such that 🐨's interactions with 🐶 reveal aspects of 🐨's personality that 🦋 has never seen, so even though he's literally the one going on dates w 🐶, he's feeling increasingly jealous

I kinda get it tho bc, especially in stage makeup, he tends to have a sharper more aggressive look that actually kinda reminds me of a lynx

mostly I'm amused by the idea of junkyu, 9000+ yr old spirit, getting addicted to games & deigning to live with jihoon after their battle bc then he can have his own room & own computer instead of having to share w grubby middle schoolers
